The end of a decade.
This is THE longest post EVER. It’s ridiculous. I based it off of a challenge that was to reflect on the past year, but I actually really enjoyed answering some of the questions, because it brought back so many memories. Trust me, I did this for me, and I don’t expect you to read it, whatsoever.
2010 was unforgettable for reasons both good and bad, but mostly good, I’d say.

My brother
has been texting me all morning about his Orlando Harry Potter experience with his girlfriend.
They have been to the castle, they have had butterbeer, and now they are riding a hippogriff.
Coolest older brother ever? Ahahaha, I think so. :)

Only a fellow artist would understand the pain I feel each time I break the tip of a Prismacolor pencil. It’s especially painful when the pencil continues to break, and you have to continue to sharpen in. You might as well kiss a dollar away each time that happens! This is why artists are broke, just sayin’.

It does not feel like Christmas in my house.
EVERYone is too busy fighting and dealing with their own problems to be in the holiday spirit.
Maybe it’ll get better when Oliver and Michelle visit later. But I kind of doubt it.
So, for now, I’m avoiding everyone, blasting Christmas music in my room, and painting.. Besides, I spent the night at Teeny’s yesterday, and I had way...

I was just staring out of my window, trying to memorize English Gothic architecture, when out of nowhere I thought of an idea for my Digital Media project. I wasn’t even thinking about it, at the time, so I was really surprised.. I guess what I’m trying to say is that inspiration does come at the most random moments. You just have to give it some time.

Yesterday was full of win. I was elected as the VP of National Art Honor Society, I found out I won a Merit Award for the print I entered in Scholastics, AND Michelle and I were accepted into a DCAD class that you had to be recommended for. I love those days that make me realize my hard work and dedication IS paying off. :)
Today wasn’t as great. I’m so stressed out over a million...

I have a shitload of crazy plans in store for my secret snowflake.
They should be scared of what’s in store for them. ;)

“First I was dying to finish high school and go to college, and then I was dying to finish college to go start working, then I was dying to marry and have children, and then I was dying for my children to grow old enough so I could go back to work, but then I was dying to retire, and now I’m dying… And suddenly I realized I forgot to live. Please don’t let this happen to...

The ridiculous amounts of symbolism in European art from the 1400’s gives me a headache! Who the hell decided that an orange in the corner means fertility? That clogs on the ground symbolize a Holy Ground? Maybe the artist just liked fruit and wore clogs. Ay Dios mio!
